Terms of Service
All clients of HeyHeyDesigns must comply with the following:
All payments are handled through Paypal. (if you do not have a Paypal account, it can still be used to make payments).
Prices are subject to change on a case by case basis over time.
Stock image edit permitted uses:
All istock Custom Edits are subject to the legal terms and conditions of istockphoto.com and remain the copyrighted material of Lauren Burke. This includes paying extended license fees for designs that will be used for print, packaging, etc. Click here for more information concerning the legal permissible uses of stock designs.
No Use in Trademark or Logo. Image edits (as opposed to exclusive custom design) may not be used content as part of a trademark, design mark, tradename, business name, service mark, or logo.
No False Representation of Authorship. You may not falsely represent that you are the original creator of a work that is made up largely of licensed content. For instance, you cannot create a painting based solely licensed content and claim that you are the author.
No Standalone File Use. You may not use content in any way that allows others to download, extract, or redistribute content as a standalone file (meaning just the content file itself, separate from the project or end use).
I answer emails until 5pm and do not work weekends or holidays (though occasionally you may find me answering emails anyway). Please note that I am based out of San Diego California and my hours are based on PST.
Since every client’s design needs and communication styles are different, turn around times are estimates only.
During the design process I do make revisions because I want you to love the art! Very large revisions and/or excessive small revisions may incur extra fees but clients are warned beforehand. Once a design has been emailed to a client in its final format, any changes (ie color changes, design changes, etc.) requested/made will incur an editing fee of $20 per hour, 1 hour minimum.
In the event that a client cannot be reached by email during standard work hours (San Diego, CA time) on the project start date (without proper notice), a refund of consultation fee will be issued and a new date must be chosen (if available). In the event that a client cannot be reached for more than 2 business days (without proper notice) after initial concept designs are emailed, the consultation fee is non-refundable and a new start date must be chosen (if available). I retain the rights to all Exclusive Custom Designs until final payment has been received.
Any losses or damages to a client’s design(s) once it has been emailed are not the responsibility of HeyHeyDesigns. In the event a client loses their design and requests a replacement, there is a storage/sending fee of $20.
I do display client image(s) in my portfolio and/or on my Facebook page for others to see exampled of my work. If your design is an Exclusive Custom Design and you do not wish to have your design(s) displayed until after they are set up on your website, OR, you would like them displayed with a Hey Hey Designs watermark, please let me know.
Due to the nature of design work, I currently do not offer consultation fee refunds on designs I’ve already started working on. If work has not begun on your design, I will happily offer a refund of your consultation fee minus any Paypal service/checkout fees and/or illustration fees (if applicable).
* HEYHEYDESIGNS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISCONTINUE OR REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON.
* I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO AMEND OR ALTER THE ABOVE POLICIES AT ANY GIVEN TIME WITHOUT NOTICE.
