After a family lost their sweet beach companion, Charlie, a memorial image was in order.
This is what Charlie’s heaven looks like! You are missed!
Not long ago, I was given the ultimate complement by a mommy-friend of mine who asked me to design a tattoo that represented her love for her sweet baby boy.
She had some ideas of what she liked style-wise but definitely wanted a music staff with a note representing the first letter of her son’s name; A.
Her family has a German background so I decided to incorporate that into the German folk art-inspired flowers.
The final result for this excited mamma was beautiful thanks to tattoo Artist Meg at BUJU in San Diego.
Hey Guys!
Still on leave over here and not able to get back to emails or start new projects. I miss you guys, Little Hank is just a HUNGRY boy. Sheesh! If I am able to slither away from him more and more while he is sleeping the possibilities are endless!
Ok, maybe not endless but hopefully I will be able to slowly get back to designing….and bathing every day. 😉
LOOK AT THIS HAIR!!!
LOOK AT IT!
(by the way, those are Ryan’s big fuzzy hands, not mine. lets be clear!)
In other news, I illustrated a book written by my good friend Alexis Wesley.
Check it out on Amazon!
I had a great opportunity to design the template and exterior of a package for www.buyashag.com. Check them out!!!
The client decided to go with a custom package design and edited istock images for the characters.
A while back, I carefully scanned and restored a ton of old pictures as a gift to my Nana for her birthday. I placed them on a disc with music and the family sat around while she got misty-eyed and told us who was in the photos. It was very cool.
This was one of the pictures of her mother.
It was a fun project. I like to leave a little bit of distress on the photos for the charm. But a blatant tear like this needed fixing.
I recently learned the meaning of the word “sleuthing” when I was contacted by Breezy Reads to illustrate a custom design of these two silhouettes of their main girls, Zoey and Clair. They will be gracing the covers of their future book series.
